This will be Asakura’s first pro boxing fight.  A RINGS featherweight and lightweight champion, Asakura has primarily fought for RIZIN MMA. With a 16-3 record with one no-contest in his career, Asakura also has a win in an MMA exhbition bout.

Mayweather, a multi-time boxing champion, is 3-0 in exhibition fights. The Hall of Fame boxer beat kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in 2018 via TKO. He then faced YouTuber Logan Paul in 2021 and former sparring partner Don Moore this past May. The Paul and Moore fights were non-scored bouts.
